Bigfoot away day Ashton Court and Leigh woods Bristol

As we had not been to Ashton Court for a fair while I thought we would give it a bash.

Dan A , Kev D , Janet and myself had a good day railing the various hard pack trails with there pump sections switchback and burmed corners, step offs and also rock gardens .

When we had had our fill we headed over the road to Leigh woods where we took the Nova trail including the red sections and also had a bash at the skills area for some RAD riding where upon Dan practised his skills in repairing his punctured tubeless tyre on his rigid bike .

That done we took in the rest of the trails finding a new jump area where Janet and Kev got some air .

We also did a bit of exploring and found some good downhilly stuff and looped back to the cafe for some bacon butties and a cuppa .

Another good fun day railing trails .

Thanks all for a good day and great company

Cheers Dan for the pics

  1. Nice write up Paul. Great all-weather fast trails. Sorry to hold you guys up as my bike squirted fluid over the trails. I agree with Kev, the particular tyre sidewalls weren’t up to the rough treatment! Sorry we missed the 50 acres cycle track, next time we’ll take all the tracks in. Great skills from Jan and Kev clearing those table-tops!
