PAULS CRASH / BIG THANKYOU TO ALL WHO HELPED IN MY HOUR OF NEED.
I would like to thank all the people who helped me after my incident, i can remember being put in the recovery position and could hear Tim,Matt and Maria’s voices ,i know the walk to the bottom of the track was painfull to say the least, Matt, thankyou for holding my hand on the way down and for the loan of your body heat and shoulder to rest my head on when waiting for the ambulance, i underwent MRIscans and X rays and was diagnosed with two breaks in the top of my neck, seven mutiple fractured vertibrae, four broken ribs and a broken and smashed left wrist and seven days in hospital and a four and a half inch plate in my wrist and a kneck collar for three months, i was supposed to be in four to eight weeks but have made rapid progress and amazed the specialist how quick i have got on , they seem to think this is because of my fittness. Thanks to FOX for who without my helmet i was told i would be dead or paralysed, i will pass the fox flux around for people to see as it is pretty smashed in, i was also wearing 661 knee pads and amourd FOX undershorts of which certainly did there job, thanks to all who have visited me and your cards and pezzies yet again reminding me how great this club is and the people who ride in it. I am still pretty bed bound but am accepting visitors if anyone would like to pop in and see me you can call me on 07757495563 all the best PaulW.

Hi Paul. Great to hear how well you’re getting on and how positive you sound. Would like to try to visit this weekend, if you’re up to it. Will text tomorrow.
Hi Paul,
Good to hear you’re home and getting on with getting well. Take it easy fella.
When did this happen?! Good to hear you’re on the mend!
Look forward to seeing you back soon Paul and on a road machine
Paul, thank God you’re ok and staying positive
I hope Michelle is ok with all the extra fetching and carrying as well as looking after the boys. Donna and I would like to come over and see you soon if that’s alright with you. Cheers
Dan,the children and I went to see Paul yesterday. He is recovering quickly and talking already about getting back on his bike.He is in good spirits and that seems to help a lot. For future reference: Michelle and I agreed that he will be an Easy Rider in future. This agreement cannot be overruled. Paul is a lucky man to have such a brilliant and understanding wife who is able to even consider letting him near a bike after such a close encounter with the grim reaper.
Rob, you Donna and the kids are welcome to pop in anytime just give me a tinkle on the number above, all the best Paul. Thanks all for your kind comments and yes what a wonderfull wife i have, i picked a good one there as she has been my rock, yours Paul

All the best. I have a large collection of Mtb videos & magazines if you want any to look at. Accidents like these can happen to any of us. These guys were at the 4X race this weekend http://www.riderdown.org.uk/ & combined with your accident makes me think we should do something to support these sort of charities.
