Easy Riders: I dare you, grade red to black, CANCELLED

Remember January? Our attempt to do the Cam Uley loop from the Cotswold mountain biking guide? We had to abandon mission because it was so bl**dy hard and we were running out of time and inner tubes. Let’s try it again. Hopefully it will be a little bit drier.
In the book it has a black grade and is described as ‘ one of the toughest and most technically difficult rides in the guide’. Lots of climbing is guaranteed. And after being a little bit cocky last time, I tend to agree with the book by now. The ride has a definite black shade.I put 4 hours down for the ride to give us the chance to finish the ride.

I guess I was too daring. No takers, except Frank. Frank, join Jason. It will be easier on the legs.

Or you could come and join us in Wales…
Count me in!
No no no…not if my life depended on it !!!! Never again!!!
Sounds like a laugh. I’ll have a look at the map this time
Would loved too have ridden but work calls!!!,have a good one.
So is it red/black because of difficult trails, drops and that kind of thing, or is it just really hard work? (or both :p)
The ride is XC. The trails are technical but no jumps or massive drops. But there is leg popping climbing, lots of it.
Thanks
if its not raining loads, I should be there
I’m doing the Mud Runner, so it’s a no for me. I hope it’s not as bad as last time
Sorry Frank and Susanne. I may not be up to this tomorrow as have had a horrendous week. Susanne will be back this evening around 9pm and may post a ride update so please check before heading out tomorrow.
Ah, didn’t see your post up top Kev
